    Here is a 5 string that I just finished. After the varnish cures enough I will rub out the finish and set it up.
    • last coat back (456 x 600).jpg

    The blue is tape used to keep the varnish off of the neck.

    Once again, a gorgeous violin. Anything different size or component-wise with this one? (Is she spoken for yet?)

    Yes it's sold. It is my standard 14.5" 5 string. I am really anxious to string it up and hear her sing. I am that way with everyone of them. I always feel like I did years ago when I made my first and heard it for the first time. The anticipation is always there.

    nice looking back.. are the f-holes larger on this one?

    Good eye! yes these f-holes are slightly larger and have been placed in a more typical position.
